Terrabio with patent protection for Terralyzer® device

At the beginning of March 2022, Terrabio received notification of the granting of a patent by the Polish Patent Office for “Device for performing amplification reactions on biological samples” (“Terralyzer®”). The patent was granted for a period of 20 years. With the legal protection granted, Terrabio will be able to significantly accelerate the commercialization of the product. This is the first patent granted to the Company.

Terrabio is also in the process of filing a patent application for Terralyzer® for the United States and the European Union.

The Company, through the use of a proprietary diagnostic system, enables research in the field of agriculture and food safety through the rapid identification of pathogens or genetic mutations. With the device, the user will receive a semi-quantitative result of the presence of pathogens in a sample in just 60-90 minutes. The Terralyzer® allows detection of up to 16 pathogens from a single sample. It is worth noting that the solution effectively reduces the cost of testing.
